What is Melancholy?
Hello and nice to virtually meet you!
My name is Gaby "Apollo" Reyes and I am the creator, owner, and designer of Melancholy.
This brand was inspired by the urge to do more with my second chance at this life. When I was 17 years old and a senior in high school, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. After a thyroidectomy and a couple rounds of radiation treatment my scans were clear and thus began this path.
In 2018 at the age of 18, I began this brand. Originally, Melancholy was rooted in self love, personal growth and mental health awareness. Melancholy now as it exists allows me to share designs that I hope will spread messages of encouragement and care through non-verbal communication (like a t-shirt (: ).
It is my greatest honor to bring artistic visions to life with my hands.
